My comprehensive assessments are designed to identify each child's academic potential and include evaluations in Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning. It's important to note that Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning are not typically taught as part of the standard school curriculum.
11 Plus English
Your child will need a strong foundation in comprehension, inference, punctuation, grammar, and spelling to understand the challenging syllabus.
Building a rich and diverse vocabulary is equally important, and this can be nurtured through regular and varied reading.
11 Plus Maths
There are many topics your child will need to master, such as quick recall of times tables and inverse, long multiplication and division, understanding time and money, decimals and fractions, identifying factors and multiples, solving equations, exploring algebra, and grasping concepts like ratio, proportion, and probability.
VR and None VR
Verbal Reasoning - There are 21 different types of Verbal Reasoning questions that your child will need to recall quickly. These questions encompass a mix of both mathematical and English-based problem-solving skills, requiring familiarity and precision in tackling each type.
Non-Verbal Reasoning - These questions will assess your child's ability to identify similarities, differences, patterns, sequences, and variations. They test critical thinking and visual problem-solving skills.
