My Journey into Tutoring

My interest in the 11 Plus exam began when searching for the right secondary school for my daughter. The entire process felt like navigating a minefield, prompting extensive research into the syllabus and procedures. After tutoring my daughter, she gained admission to the grammar school of her choice and is now happily studying at Cambridge University. This personal experience and success sparked my interest and passion for helping other families and children navigate the 11 Plus journey.

My Approach to Tuition

With over 15 years of tutoring experience, I've worked with children from local junior and independent schools, providing support in primary maths, English, SATs revision, and 11 Plus preparation.

My approach is rooted in a sound knowledge of educational subjects, curriculum, and tests. I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment to help each student reach their full potential.

Parent Recommendations

I am not a member of a franchise or agency as most of my referrals come from parent recommendations. My Qualifications and Experience

I am a qualified teacher holding a BA(H) and PGCE. As a committed professional, I am a member of the Society for Education and Training and the Tutors Association. For your peace of mind, I work to a standard code of ethics and I hold enhanced and current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks, ensuring a safe and trustworthy tutoring environment.
